Duluth Wedding Show · January 9, 2027

Plan for the marriage,
not just the wedding.

A wedding gets planned down to the napkins. A good marriage mostly gets hoped for. This is about giving the second one some of the same attention.

The conversations
ahead of the vows

Most of these topics wait for a milestone. A move, a child, a parent who needs care, or something nobody saw coming. By then the decision usually can't wait, and the disagreement needs time you don't have:

  • Communication, conflict, and partner habits
  • Family background, prior relationships & blended-family dynamics
  • Money, careers & day-to-day roles
  • Values, faith, life goals & readiness for marriage
  • Intimacy, connection & emotional closeness

For Show Attendees

Couples who attend the Duluth Wedding Show can book premarital counseling at a reduced per-session rate for up to twelve hours, scheduled one session at a time, with no package to buy and no prepayment.

Twelve hours is also what Minnesota asks for the marriage license discount, which cuts the fee by $75. In St. Louis County that brings it from $115 down to $40; a few counties differ slightly. Ask about documentation at your first session.

Ready to Begin?

Bring the same care
to the marriage as
the wedding.

The next step is a consultation: a conversation about where the two of you are and whether this is a good fit. It costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
